Barnstable Brown Gala 2009
While The Barnstable-Brown Gala is one of the Premier Derby Eve Parties
in Louisville, Kentucky, it is much more than just a “great party” ! Held at the
Barnstable-Brown Mansion, this Star Studded Black Tie Event, is a fundraiser
for Diabetes and Obesity Research.
Tricia Barnstable-Brown and her late husband Dr. David Brown created the
Barnstable-Brown Foundation. All the proceeds from this Annual Gala go to
this Foundation to support research.
Jeff Williams was invited to accompany his 2009 Kentucky Derby Original
Paintings to this year’s Gala. It was a grand event and wonderful to see so
many people turn out for such a worthy cause. The guests really enjoyed
meeting Jeff and having the opportunity to see the actual Derby Originals.
In fact, one of the guests purchased the Derby Original that night. Jeff was
delighted to donate a portion of that sale to The Barnstable-Brown Foundation.
